Full Restoration and Addition including Granny Flat/Loft to a Home in Pymble

This house was a landmark house in its street for many years with its tall sandstone chimney and English cottage style
architecture.
JF Taylor Constructions were appointed to build an external covered outdoor living area, new upper level master
bedroom, and a new swimming pool. The project expanded in scope and it included the extension of the garage and its
loft with new dormers to provide a separate accommodation wing to the house linked by a covered way Verandah. The
new covered outdoor living area gained a dual function with bifold doors and rollout insect screens to allow it to be
used as an outdoor area as well as indoor dining area able to accommodate a large family sized dining table. This area
can be totally open or closed to the rear garden and overlooks the new pool and small garden pavilion at the end of the
pool. A new kitchen was also incorporated into this area.

The project went on to encompass a complete makeover of the entire existing house and garden, all whilst the clients
lived on in the house during the work.
